Global chapter

WIFS Caribbean

Together, we can do better.

The WIFS Caribbean Chapter is designed to strengthen food safety systems while advancing women working across industry, government, academia, laboratories, and public health. The chapter addresses unique Caribbean challenges such as limited resources, fragmented regional coordination, and the informal food sector, while creating leadership, mentorship, and visibility opportunities for women professionals.

The chapter is structured around four strategic pillars—community building, professional development and mentorship, partnerships and regional collaboration, and advocacy and public education—implemented through a phased two-year roadmap.
